First day of school in Davao Doctors College SY 2006-2007 To start the classes right, on June 13, first day of classes, the College has started SY 2006-2007 with a Mass of the Holy Spirit.
It was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jose Marie Escuadro, DCD.
The students, faculty, staff and administrators of the College attended the mass.
The College of Nursing has conducted series of orientation for BSN students.
BSN 4 students had an Orientation on NCM 104 – Curative and Rehabilitative Nursing on June 14, 2006 at the College Gym.
Students were welcomed back to the college and basic information on the course requirements was presented.
Guidelines relative to students’ exposures in the different affiliation centers and student performance were given emphasis.
BSN 3 students, together with their parents, attended the orientation in the afternoon of June 15, 2006 at the College Gym.
Aside from the introduction to the NCM 101 (Curative and Rehabilitative Nursing Care Management. Placement), other presentations dwelt on the prerequisites of the course and its content.
But most importantly, the grading system was exhaustively discussed.
Clinical supervisors and RLE supervisors who will supervise the BSN 3 students were introduced.
Excitedly, parents and students look forward to the most awaited Cap and Pin Ceremony on July 28, 2006.
Last Friday, June 16, the College of Nursing conducted an orientation to all the BSN Freshmen and transferees.
The new entrants to DDC were oriented on the College of Nursing’s policies, rules and regulations.
On the lighter side, the DDC Dance Troupe spearheaded by the Sports Coordinator, Ms. Pearl Mancao and Physical Education Instructor, Mr. Ryan Ranay.
